Travel restrictions
European Command: Travel to the republic of Turkey is prohibited through April 30. Requests for official travel shall be coordinated and routed through the members’ chain of command following current USEUCOM and USAREUR travel guidance. Unofficial travel (regular leave, liberty and special pass) to or within the Republic of Turkey is prohibited. Questions concerning unofficial travel shall be addressed through your Antiterrorism Officer. The restrictions and approval levels apply to all Department of Defense elements and personnel, including military personnel, DoD civilian employees, contractors, and command-sponsored dependents/family members.
Boots to Business program
Plan ahead for your transition out of the military. The U.S. Small Business Administration Boots to Business program, an entrepreneurship track of the Transition Assistance Program, will sponsor a two-day course in Vicenza beginning April 20. The course is open to all service members and their spouses no matter when they are transitioning.
